How to set it up

Open MacDupl and choose Telegram from the list of apps installed on your Mac. - Name and colour it
Call it “Work”, “Personal” or a client's name, and give it one of nine icon tints. - Hit Create

Does the Mac App Store version work?
No. The App Store build is sandboxed and can't be cloned — install the direct download from telegram.org instead.
Can I use two different phone numbers?
Yes. Each instance is a separate Telegram as far as the service is concerned, so each takes its own number and login.
Is my chat history shared?
No. Each instance has its own isolated data, so chats, media and settings stay entirely separate.
How much disk does a second Telegram use?
Almost nothing for the app itself — instances are copy-on-write copies sharing disk blocks with the original. Only each instance's own data takes real space, and every instance card shows you exactly how much.
